What Is A Hydraulic Lift? A Hydraulic lift uses a pump to pump oil from a tank into a cylinder that raises a piston. As the piston rises, the cabin will also rise. To lower the cabin, the oil will be released from a valve in the cylinder in order to release pressure in a controlled way for a smooth descent. For more information, see our full guide.

Can I Customise My Altura Platinum Lift? Yes! The Altura Platinum Hydraulic lift is fully bespoke and customisable to suit your home or property and your ideal style.

How Is The Altura Platinum Different From The Altura Diamond The Altura Platinum Home Lift utilises Hydraulic technology for operation, which utilises oil, a pump and a piston in which to operate. The Altura Diamond lift is a traction elevator that uses a steel rope-and-pulley system to lift and lower the cabin.

How Do I Order An Altura Platinum Lift? To start the process of ordering your Altura Platinum lift, all you have to do is get in touch with our team. We'll start the ball rolling by discussing your options with you, putting together a quote and even paying a visit to your property to conduct a survey. We can also complete the survey over a video call for ease. We will guide you through every step of the ordering and installation process.

Is The Altura Platinum Lift Safe? Yes! The Altura Platinum hydraulic lift is completely safe and comes fit with a number of safety features for peace of mind, including emergency brakes, backup power in case of power loss and more. 

Is Servicing Required For My Altura Platinum Lift? In order for your lift to work at top condition for as long as possible, servicing is highly advised. We recommend servicing at least once a year, or any time there appears to be any changes in it's operation. 

How Long Does Installation Take? Installation of your Altura Platinum lift will differ according to a number of factors, including your property, the size or height of the lift and any additional features that may need to be fitted. We will give you an approximate time ahead of installation, however it typically takes a few days.
