Case StudiesBattledown Drive Cheltenham

We were tasked with providing a sleek yet reliable design lift for our client - a high profile restaurateur in Cheltenham for his new ultra-modern 3 storey residence. He managed the whole build personally, so we were very mindful to keep the lift process as simple as possible for him as managing a full portfolio of businesses and also project managing a house build simultaneously can of course be very stressful. We specified our 4000 lift from our Modern range of lifts as the brief was for a good looking lift that was functional and safe for his parents to use when they come over to stay. We added the double hinged all glass doors as an extra on all floors as these save on space and are fully automatic making the lift a lot easier to use and very attractive looking – we also got these painted in a different colour to blend in with his staircase. But don’t just take our word for it, below is feedback from our client…. ‘I Was thrilled with how Morgan Ellis performed on the project, Jeff was always easy to reach and on hand whenever I needed him. We are delighted with how the lift looks and it is a great addition to the house, it means my parents can now come and visit at anytime without any trepidation of two flights of stairs. I would definitely recommend Morgan Ellis Lifts to anyone thinking of purchasing a lift as not only did they really do the business for me but I now consider Jeff to be a friend’

Case StudiesHill House Norwich

Our clients Melanie and Steve were building their dream home on the outskirts of Norwich and really wanted to cover all bases and install a lift to avoid any access issues in the future.   The house was to be something straight off grand designs with glass everywhere and all ultra high end fixtures and fittings so the lift needed to be in keeping amongst that theme.   ‘We had a lot of lift quotations and it was tough to pick between them, not being a lift specialist sometimes I was scratching my head to find the differences, then we met Jeff who instantly stood out from the crowd. He suggested finishes that we hadn’t even thought of, such as the mirrored stainless steel doors that we now absolutely love’   Because the lift we specified was from our Dynamic range the choices / options were truly endless so it really suited this build as the client was able to select a really high end bespoke interior to match with the rest of the house but the cost was still very reasonable and within budget.   ‘I would definitely recommend Morgan Ellis to anybody thinking of a lift for a home or project, lifts can be tricky to navigate but once you meet Jeff and the team all will become a lot clearer, we are delighted we chose to go with them’

Case StudiesPrivate Home Notting Hill

We were bought in at an early stage on this project and had several meetings with the architects and main contractor to really nail down the lift specification for their client. They wanted a completely bespoke interior for the lift and for it to serve as a feature within the property. We worked tirelessly on several different designs / layouts to get the exact lift they required and there was a lot of input from the client’s team of interior designers to make sure we hit the brief. The eventual decision was to go for bronze stainless-steel landing and car doors to give that real high end look and feel. We provided a blank cabin for the fit out to be done on site and we used our in house re skin team to redo the doors in the exact finish the client selected. ‘Morgan Ellis really did a fantastic job on our lift – its just how we envisaged it to look. I couldn’t recommend them more highly and they were fantastic from start to finish’

Case StudiesLathom Hotel Eastbourne

Our client a successful developer down on the south coast had purchased the former Lathom hotel site in one of the towns prominent garden squares.   His plan was to convert the hotel into fifteen luxury two bedroom apartments in what was seen as the most important residential development in Eastbourne in years.   The site is located a few minutes walk from the town centre and the beach / sea front is literally only a stones throw away.   We were called in as the lift specialists as the existing shaft size they had available for the building was very tight and couldn’t be altered at all as it was a grade II listed building.   We came up with a completely bespoke solution that would provide the building with a good sized passenger lift for the apartments and would also mean that the existing lift shaft could be utilized.   Most companies were only able to provide standard solutions that wouldn’t work this is exactly why we were called in to help as this really was a bespoke lift required.   The building is now fully renovated and apartments are currently being sold which without the lift access provided by Morgan Ellis would be a tougher sell.

Case StudiesGarway Road - Notting Hill

Garway Road is one of the most special projects undertaken by Morgan Ellis to date.  This modern and stylish house has it all, which had to be taken into consideration when planning and executing this project. From the first meeting with the client to the completion of this amazing looking house, we knew this would be one to be proud of.  The brief was to plan and install a completely unique bespoke glass lift that was capable of serving 3 levels. The task that Morgan Ellis undertook was only one small part of this superb home renovation within a grade two listed building.  We had to design this lift to fit perfectly into the property whilst incorporating the clients requirements to keep perfectly in line with the high end look and finish of this outstanding renovation.    After some time researching and planning, the end result from Morgan Ellis ticked all the boxes. Designed and installed was a stunning looking all glass hydraulic lift with clear glass sliding doors, fully fitted with a glass cabin roof and floor. Taking slightly longer than expected due to having to carefully work around the many other onsite trades, we still managed to hand over this project with time to spare and delivered this amazing high end lift to very happy client’s.

Case StudiesLittle Gaynes Horchurch Essex

Mr and Mrs Toggwiler have lived in their home for many years and with mobility around the house becoming more of an issue they contacted Morgan Ellis to provide a slick functional home lift to service the 3 levels of the home. The Aritco Home Lift was the preferred choice to fit elegantly next to the stair case and into the loft space. With a black frame and tinted glass the design matched the current decor.  After the project was complete we caught up with Mr Toggwiler to ask a few questions.  Why did you choose the Aritco Home Lift? First and foremost it was the design combining black metal frames with tinted glass which was striking me at first sight. Secondly the lift fitted a tight space (footprint). Benefits for having the new Aritco Home Lift? My wife and I are starting to have mobility problems. Climbing the stairs in a house with three floor levels is getting very difficult. Selling the house and moving to a bungalow or buying an apartment was the answer. However we love our house and garden as well as the neighborhood. Thanks to the Aritco Home Lift we can enjoy our beloved house on all three floor levels for years to come. Thank you Morgan Ellis! How long did it take to install? The installation took three days only and went smoothly with minimal disturbance How were Morgan Ellis able to help with your project plans? For me it was important to deal with one partner only, Morgan Ellis did exactly that. They handled the project with all third party suppliers contributors to my full satisfaction. Thank you Morgan Ellis! Any further feedback or comments? It has been a very joyful experience all-round. The answers above actually tell the whole story.
